Welcome to the Cottage on Lake Winnipesaukee— a bright, thoughtfully updated lakeside getaway on a quiet bay across from Stonedam Island.

Designed for easy summer living, this property has direct lake access steps from the front door with a beach and docks for swimming and lounging. A patio outside the cottage has a picnic table for alfresco dining and chairs to relax and enjoy the mountain views. This modern cottage is located in a small 9 home lakeside community of Summerside and guests also have access to the sugar sands of Hubbard Beach a short walk away.

Inside, the open living space feels airy and inviting with natural light, clean finishes, comfortable furnishings, central air conditioning, and a fully equipped kitchen. There are two bedrooms on first floor and two additional bedroooms on second floor. The atmosphere is casual, warm, and effortlessly relaxing — ideal for families, couples, or friends looking to unplug and enjoy lake life.

Please Note: Kayak and paddleboard are available for guest use. Washer/dryer shown in pictures are not be available for use. Rental of deep water dock is potentially available upon request for an additional $200/day (26 ft boat).

All guests shall abide by Vacasa's good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
This property is managed by Vacasa New Hampshire LLC.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Dock details: An additional $200 per day, please call 1.800.544.0300 to request the addition of the dock

Weekend Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. There was a surprising amount of room for our family of 4 and located very close to the lake. A perfect spot for a getaway.

Comfortable summer cottage

This was a very comfortable cottage for our family of five. The AC isn't great upstairs, but the kids were only up there for sleeping, so it wasn't a big deal for us. We loved the proximity to the lake and drank our coffee on the dock each morning while listening to loons and watching the silent fishermen glide through the quiet mornings. The kids loved swimming in the lake. Beware that the level of the lake is very low , but that you can't necessarily tell the depth from the dock. We would recommend this cottage to other families.

Quaint little cabin

The house was so incredibly cute! There were 4 of us and everyone had their own room (although we ended up not using two of them) and there was just enough space for us not to feel cramped. It was clean, modern lake house feel and the location is incredible. We got there at night and when I woke up in the morning to see the view and walk out to the lake I was blown away! Had a small water issue that we eventually got resolved but it didn't wreck the stay. If you're looking for a cute, comfy spot to crash at night then this is a great spot!

Beautiful cozy home for the family

We loved this little house! Four bedrooms is a rare find for our budget and needs, but they were much appreciated. Everything inside felt so cozy and familiar. Unfortunately, we spent most of our vacation week inside, as the weather was unseasonably cool and rainy. But at least we were comfortable and the wifi was good! It was so very quiet there during the week! Despite this house being one of 10 units on the property, I think we were the only ones there outside the weekend. The onsite beach/swimming area is more crowded with boats and docks than I would have liked, but the water was clean and the ground mostly sandy.

Beautiful property, even better lake views/access!

The property was very well kept and just like the photos! We truly loved the setup and accessibility...didn't want to leave! The people we spoke to in the neighboring properties were all very welcoming and friendly. Honestly, the description/photos don't properly explain how scenic the property is. It's super close to the lake - water views from inside the home...and the community beach/dock area is a short walk away...beautiful view! The only issues we had were that the air conditioner didn't seem to really work. It was blowing somewhat cool air but the temperature of the home never really got below 82-85 degrees. Also, I was looking forward to having access to a washer and dryer which were shown in the photos but were taped up with signs not to use. Perhaps I missed it, but I would make this clear in the listing that they are not for rental use. We hope to return in the future!
