"No problem with check in. The front desk person was very helpful and nice. We were asked where we would like to be so that was great. The only negative was that the pool and hot tub were closed for health violations of some kind and we were looking to take a swim after a long day of driving. If it is going to be a long term shutdown perhaps that should be mentioned when booking this hotel. "

"The room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Desk staff very friendly and helpful. There’s some noise from the highway- ear plugs took care of that. The breakfast was just cereal and packaged pastries, which gave us the perfect excuse to go out for breakfast. Highly recommend Toni’s Courtyard Cafe in Merced. Great eggs Benedict and biscuits and gravy. "
