"We absolutely LOVE the Agate Cove Inn. Susan welcomed us and quickly showed us to our room. She suggested several places to eat and reminded us that daily baked cookies were in the coffee/tea area. Our three-day stay also provided us with an amazing breakfast! The breakfast staff people are friendly, welcoming and talented chefs. We have been frequent visitors to Mendocino since the mid ‘90’s. It is the perfect place for us to unwind and recharge. We have never stayed in Agate Cove Inn before, but this will be our home base from now on! "

"The view is amazing. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking big meals. From the house walked along some roads to the Russian Gulch State Park beach. It was a very quick car ride into the cute village of Mendocino. We really enjoyed playing pool and soaking in the hot tub."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Packard house. It was modern and clean. We especially enjoyed the fireplace and deep soaking tub. The morning picnic basket breakfast was a fun start to each day and the wine cheese are in the afternoon was great as well. Fantastic location and easy to walk to town and to the Bluff trails. Great customer service as well. "

"Place was cool, spacious, and modern. Had everything you’d need for a pleasant stay. Booked the Elite room specifically for the soaking tub. Room also had a standup shower. Had a microwave, mini fridge, and Nespresso coffee machine. Nestled location but only a mile and a half from historic Mendocino. My only issue would be the mattress comfort. Could be a more plush and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again when the weather is nicer. "

"This is absolutely the best place in Mendocino, for a couple or single person. Location is excellent. I've been visiting for years, and always try to reserve this place - but the secret is out and weekends get booked months in advance. The furnishings are so nice: comfy bed and linens, good natural light and lighting including multiple dimmers (and all light bulbs work!), stocked kitchen with lots of small appliances and spices/oils/vinegars. The hosts are "locals" and very responsive, kind and classy. Oh also many books, beautiful local artwork, Dish tv and streaming options, bluetooth speaker, flashlights, beach chairs, lots of seating options in the front room - all with that view!"
