"Great rural location (i am not a golfer), really nice room, clean and comfortable and reasonably stylish. Only let downs were; paper thin walls so could hear quiet conversations in the adjacent rooms, and a noisy shower (neighbour showered at 1am!). it was a heatwave; room fans were provided but it would have been good to fully ventilate the rooms. Due to work commitments i had to leave before breakfast so can't comment on that."

"Bit of an issue getting into the property as we arrived quite late but thought the pub would still be open. Sorted out quickly without a problem though. Room was really good, comfortable, clean with all we needed for a good night's sleep. Owner seems to have considered what was required really well. Breakfast was excellent & catered for all tastes. Staff friendly & helpful. Would stay again."

"The Old Mill is a lovely old building that has been well converted to a b&b. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean and importantly for us, the windows are easily openable. Bere Regis is a small but well connected village, there are many places of interest within easy reach. "

"Lovely room, clean with plenty of space. Very comfortable bed and everything provided that you would need. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. This was despite the fact that they were dealing with flooding outside the pub following a storm."

"There are not many places to stay in Wimborne. This is probably the best. Don’t expect elevators or lots of modern conveniences here. This is a 16th century hotel with narrow staircases and our room had beamed ceilings and a copper bathtub. What is great is that it is right in the won center and has enough free and secure parking so you don’t need to use a public carpark."

"Room was very clean and comfortable bed - staff were upbeat, really friendly and helpful. Parking was great and bar very pleasant atmosphere - enjoyed a good laugh playing Bingo. Good breakfast and evening meal."

"The location was perfect for us as we were going to the theatre. (2 minute walk). Walking to town didn’t take much longer and we enjoyed looking around. The lady that checked us in was very friendly and offered advice about where to visit. It was nice to be greeted with a smile and the same for when we went down for breakfast. "Lovely setting, great welcome, food superb, staff friendly and helpful We had the suite (kingfisher) which was an excellent room except for a radiator being stuck on in the bathroom. The lady in charge (lovely lass) managed to get it sorted as the outside temp was up in the 30’s!!! If I have any criticism of the room, a little use of bleach would have gone a long way but please don’t let that put you off. The place is very very good. "Our stay was fantastic. Me and my husband share the same birthday. I had arranged it with the staff that they would leave balloons blown up in our room prior to arrival. They did this with no worries. Room was excellent. Hot tub awesome. Food was phenomenal. We've already booked to return next year."
