"Exceptionally welcoming staff, clean property in good condition with good food. We stayed in seven properties in Bali on this holiday, some significantly more expensive but this was our favourite by a long way and probably the only one we would consider returning to. Good value, relaxing and welcoming."

"We were thrilled to have stayed in this Villa for a month. It is beautifully located in the northern part of Bali, right on the beach. The Villa itself is great - lovely garden and pool, which we enjoyed everyday. The true treasure of this Villa is the staff. Ayu and Epi were amazing cooks. They were always prompt and extremely personable. They did a great job keeping everything spotless. We loved getting to know them! Juta our driver was so wonderful. He was available at all times to take us wherever we wanted to go. Driving in Bali is crazy, so having an extremely competent driver is essential. We had a few places in mind that we wanted to see, but he suggested and took us to places we would not have thought of. He’s always in a great mood and he really made things fun. Do yourself a favor and stay here. It’s a great combination of R&R and exploring Bali. What a beautiful island !!!"

"I love this area, it’s much quieter and bland in with the local village and people. The cabins are great and the views are excellent. The only thing is that the cabins can get bit too hot, better ventilation or more sufficient fan would make lots of difference. The staff was without fault. Very happy overall."

"Villa Pardu is a roomy four bedroom home with a large, comfy and well appointed patio, built-in pool and lovely landscaping which is situated on a black sand beach. During the day the house is open to the soft ocean breezes and gentle sounds of the waves upon the beach. But there’s more. The staff at the Villa are so amazing that they make the 24 hour plane ride worth the trip. Darma the driver/guide is so knowledgeable about everything Bali that we needed only to tell him the kinds of things we like or were interested in and he put together a daily adventure to Temples, waterfalls, batik artists, coffee farms, chocolate factory, dolphin viewing and for one of us, a sunrise volcano climb and more. Ita, the Villa cook, prepared the best and most beautifully presented meals we had in Bali. We are not big meat eaters, so every meal Ita served was a riot of colors and textures so lovely we couldn’t wait to see what she would create next. Desak, the Villa housekeeper, is so helpful, ask for something and it’s done. She is so sweet and gentle that it is a joy to have her around. The pool and grounds are kept beautifully, the pool is cleaned and vacuumed each morning. Even if you never left the Villa the staff is so helpful and accommodating that you would have a wonderful time. The hosts were responsive to our questions and Budi, the property manager, took care of things that needed repair immediately. I would definitely stay here again."

"Beautiful joglo, lovely air-conditioned bedroom with amazing outdoor shower! The garden was tropical with beautiful trees and flowers. You can hear the lapping waves from the spectacular warm huge pool, with infinity sides, that made you feel like you're in paradise. We were in the middle joglo, we never saw or heard our neighbours. The staff were welcoming and so kind and helpful. Everything we requested they fulfilled, no problem. Our chef Ilo, and Esa, we're absolutely lovely and her cooking was outstanding. We often asked for traditional Balinese dishes which weren't on the menu, it was all delicious, thank you so much. Ita was a brilliant masseuse, we had traditional and reflexology massages in the garden. We can't believe how strong she was and relieved us of all stresses and knots! Highly recommend, we had 3 each as it was so wonderful. A big thank you to Nono our guide for activities, who is so knowledgeable about the island. We went through the mangroves and as a low tide ended up walking as boat got stuck was really fun! We also went snorkeling to Deer Island reef. It was the best snorkel I have ever done, thousands of fish and saw 2 turtles, what a thrill! I have dived all over the world and this was by far the best! My husband's first snorkel and Nono made him feel safe. Sami our driver was so friendly, the long airport transfer was beautifully scenic, well worth it to escape the busy commercial city. Thank you all for making our honeymoon so special."
