"This is a gorgeous boutique hotel -- it felt like an oasis to us. The rooms are very spacious and many of them are their own little bungalow. When the main ferry service had terrible delays due to an incident, the manager, Mey, chartered a boat for us and arranged for a car in Bali to get us to our destination. "The place is amazing given that it is in the middle of a national forest. If you want to have a real snorkeling experience, book a trip to Menjangan island, and not just by the private jetty. While you will see fish off the jetty, the coral are mostly bleached. This is a beautiful place to reconnect with nature and enjoy the generous balinese hospitality."

"This was our second time staying in Batu Ampar Resort. The property is a 10-15 minutes walk from Pasir Putih Beach. The rooms are comfortable, the AC is cold, and the outdoor bathroom is a nice addition. The room was cleaned daily. The food is delicious, and the staff is absolutely lovely! "This is my third time to stay. The hotel is good quality and comfortable. Staff are welcoming. It also has a nice little bar. The pool is OK, but not really for active swimming. The aircon needs a bit of an overhaul in some rooms (I had to move rooms because it didn't work in my first room, and the controller was kind of broken in the second), but overall a good temperature reached for 4 great sleeps in a comfy bed and lovely pillows."
