"Nusa Bay Resort is “rustic” style accommodation in an incredibly beautiful, out of the way spot in Bali. The resort is very clean but somewhat dated and tired. I could not speak highly enough about the staff and the service! The food is very good and reasonably priced for a remote location. There is abundant wildlife and a nice reef to snorkel on at your doorstep. If you like nature and something other that Kuta/Nusa Dua/Ubud/Canngu, I would highly recommend."

"The place is amazing given that it is in the middle of a national forest. If you want to have a real snorkeling experience, book a trip to Menjangan island, and not just by the private jetty. While you will see fish off the jetty, the coral are mostly bleached. This is a beautiful place to reconnect with nature and enjoy the generous balinese hospitality."

"This was our second time staying in Batu Ampar Resort. The property is a 10-15 minutes walk from Pasir Putih Beach. The rooms are comfortable, the AC is cold, and the outdoor bathroom is a nice addition. The room was cleaned daily. The food is delicious, and the staff is absolutely lovely! "This is my third time to stay. The hotel is good quality and comfortable. Staff are welcoming. It also has a nice little bar. The pool is OK, but not really for active swimming. The aircon needs a bit of an overhaul in some rooms (I had to move rooms because it didn't work in my first room, and the controller was kind of broken in the second), but overall a good temperature reached for 4 great sleeps in a comfy bed and lovely pillows."
