"Excellent stay in what felt like a boutique hotel. We had paid extra for the villa for our short stay and it was amazing. Some photos do not show that it now has a hot tub. Very clean and I have to mention that the staff seem to be a really good team. Breakfast and the food in general were full of flavor and up there with the best food we had. "The property was beautiful and our group loved how authentic it felt. The pool was well maintained and there was plenty of space for 10 people. Maria was a wonderful host and helped arrange transportation for us. The surrounding town of Megalochori is small but quiet and significantly less crowded than Fira or Oia, but the trade-off is that there are no spectacular views, and fewer dining options. Note, only some of the bedrooms have air conditioning. "

"This hotel is a very basic hotel. I think you get what you pay for. The pools are beautiful and very nice. There are much more expensive hotels on the island, and this one makes it more accessible and I love the small town it is located in. I have to say, the service was incredibly friendly, warm and personal here. I found the beds to be a bit hard, and the shower was a bit difficult to manage, but I am also used to more American standards so that could be part of the difference. "
