"Breakfast was abysmal. The choices were cold cereal, toast, yogurt, pre-packaged oatmeal and danishes. The orange juice from the machine was horrible. There wasn't even creamer for the coffee.
Late check in was after 7pm. They could not find our reservation from Expedia. They were pleasant and friendly.
The next morning, our reservation still did not show up. The owners were pleasant and helpful, but now we have to track if we were charged by Expedia AND the hotel.

"Our room was spotless, the only thing that wasn’t was the fact they’re currently doing renovations throughout the hotel. Stairs to upstairs rooms get locked at night and can only be accessed via key card, which adds some peace of mind. Staff was very helpful and if we find ourselves in Salem IN again, I’d stay here again."
