"Parking garage right under the hotel, friendly staff. However, this is right by the railway station and a big bus stop, so not the prettiest side of town."
"What a lovely quiet place to stay right in the historic area. We really enjoyed our stay. The location very close to the station with the beach and old town a short walk away was perfect.
We particularly enjoyed our quiet breakfasts at a table in the cloister area of the old convent."
"was a great location for catching ferry to tangier the next day, bar staff were a bit disengaged and nearly got charged twice for breakfast but overall we found the place totally charming"

Plaza de la Luz Cádiz
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent hotel in the heart of the old town of Cadiz! Near bars, restaurants, shopping and the beach! Super clean and quiet too. We loved the breakfast every morning and the free laundry machines on the top floor!"
"We stayed for two nights at Hotel Bodega Tio Pepe in Jerez. After several nights in both Cadiz and Sevilla we really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. It was very central to both the shops and restaurants and only twenty minutes walk from the train station. The hotel was located right next to the cathedral and the Alcazar and is part of the bodega site which makes Tio Pepe sherry & wine. There was a small pool area upstairs on the top of the hotel and breakfast was served in the restaurant courtyard area. Although we didn’t use the pool it had a fabulous view of the cathedral next door and was very popular. We arrived early on the first day and so the reception held our bags for the day as we walked around Jerez and allowed us to check in to our room half an hour early. The bedroom was really nicely decorated and had a huge bed and a modern bathroom. There was also a fridge however unfortunately this did not keep the water cool. The breakfast was delicious and all made to order. There was a great selection of meals and the croissant/ pastry board was a definite highlight. One day we had scrambled eggs, tomato and avocado with toasts and a Spanish cooked breakfast and the other we had soft boiled eggs. It was really lovely to be sat in the courtyard which was all very well nicely designed. We would definitely go back to the hotel and the staff team were very polite, friendly and nothing was too much trouble."
"Breakfast was very good. Fabulous bed and room. Views were amazing with a lovely balcony. Reception was friendly and supportive.
The pools and pool area was the best and sun beds were available even though August throughout the day. Would have no hesitation in returning . "
"We stayed at this hotel due to the proximity of Gibraltar and it being better value than staying in Gib itself. It was a 10-min walk to the border. It was 5-min walk to the centre of La Línea with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. Room was a good size and breakfast choice was good. The beach is also close by. The hotel has a pool but we didn’t use it as we were out sightseeing each day. "
