"Lovely old hotel, tucked away ina backstreet, but close to the harbour and the main part of town. Beautifully presented. We were in junior suite, Zenobia. It was large, full of character, with four windows, including two small balconies. Very memorable.There is also a comfy roof terrace. The downside? The air on unit was both too small to sufficiently cool the room, and it wasn’t as quiet as it should have been. Consequently, quality of sleep wasn’t good. If the windows were open, street noise...

"Beautifully kept, immaculate, quiet and comfortable. Tucked down a quiet side street, just a few minutes from the centre, the hotel is uninspiring outside. Inside, the reception area is attractive and bright. Warmly greeted - which continued every time we entered and left (you have to leave your key). Room spotless - perhaps slightly old-fashioned but that added to its charm. Bed much more comfortable than it looked - single long pillow seemed odd but didn't cause us any problems. Slightly odd...
