"We received a warm welcome from Ryan at his 'Community' pub, Ring o'Bells, West Alvington on the outskirts of Kingsbridge. The bedrooms are beside the carpark; access to them is via an open sturdy metal stairway which may be a challenge in adverse weather. The beds with en-suite facilities were clean and well-presented; we all enjoyed a good night's sleep without any distractions. "The toilet was on the outside of the room which i was not expecting when i had booked a room with a private bathroom. The shower also steps onto carpet and there is no exhaust fan and no way to open the window which makes room quite humid when trying to straighten hair. Also concerned also the shower had some mould in it. The no exhaust fan with the shower being in the room could lead to mould problems in the future. Otherwise okay"

"I don’t even know where to begin! From start to finish everything was superb! I stayed in Bothywick with my grandma and on the day I had to go to a wedding my grandma was looked after by Pat and Tony, they really went above and beyond for her! "I've stayed there twice now on each visit to Plymouth. The rooms have been refreshed, clean and the area is generally fairly quiet. The location means you can walk to the Hoe, Barbican readily, and the Drake Circus is 5 minutes away. If I return to Plymouth, I'd readily come back!! And the staff are great :) "

"Great hotel in the centre of Plymouth shopping area walked to Plymouth Hoe for a concert 12/15mins but lovely walk. The Staff where amazing check in bar staff Restaurant all so good made you feel very welcome I even told the manager how good it was. Parked in drakes circus car park for 11 hours £15 car was really safe there as some car parks are really tiny if you have a 4x4 you would not get into some places. Certainly stay at this hotel again very happy "
