"This cottage is in the perfect location for a trip to Bainbridge! We walked to all our meals, shopping, the harbor, and the grocery store. And we sat in the shared outdoor space daily to watch the boats coming and going, crew teams practicing, and harbor seals sunning on the dock. The cottage was very clean, well stocked, and comfortable. Deb is a great host, and is communicative and easy to reach. We enjoyed every part of our week staying here and would recommend it to anyone. We’ll be back!"

"Incredible home in an incredible location! We stayed at this lovely home last summer and also this year. Each stay was perfection. We used the kayaks and explored the bay. We explored Front St, in Poulsbo and had an delicious lunch overlooking Liberty Bay, We hiked through Broedel Reserve yesterday, on Bainbridge Island, and then on to Indianola to see Chief Sealth's (Seattle namesake) grave. This home is so centrally located that everything was within 5-15 minutes! The home has everything you need and the largest fridge/freezer you could ever wish for! Thank you for another lovely stay - we are driving onto the ferry on our way home feeling de-stressed and rested."

Murden Cove Waterfront Retreat: 3BR Oasis & Kayaks

"Our family of 6 stayed at Murden Cove last week. We all felt like we had hit the VRBO jackpot staying in this beautiful old house. It sits very close to the water and the beautiful views of the cove, the Canadian geese, great blue heron, sea gulls, beautiful sunrises and the fog blowing through the evergreens across the bay were all a constant marvel. The grounds around the house are quite beautiful, filled with blooming hydrangea, rosemary, flowering oregano and apple trees filled with apples. We spent a lot of time on the deck overlooking the cove and on the grassy hill just next to the house. The house itself is lovely and cozy, decorated with an artistic elegant eclectic style that is welcoming and warm. It offered everything we needed even just the two bathrooms (and one shower) was not an issue. Everything worked well and was very straightforward, no confusing issues. The house feels well maintained and fresh while still feeling quirky and quaint. It is not a modern house by any stretch so some of the doors don’t close firmly and the kitchen is clean and tidy and very well stocked but not remodeled which was just fine with us. Our favorite thing was to spend time in the house enjoying the view and being with family. Honestly, it felt like an honor to stay there. One thing that took getting used to was a funny smell that from time to time comes off of the cove, a sulfur smell from the organic matter in the bay. It came and went while we were there but was not a big deal."
