About this property

Private pond, fishing, on-site hiking, hot tub and only 15 minutes to Ash Cave!

  • The Kick N' Relax Cabin is a 3 bed, 2 bath private retreat where you can host up to 6 of your closest friends or family. Cozy up to the indoor stove or soak your night away in the 6 person hot tub. Outside, there is a deck for cooking and dining and a private pond stocked for catch-and-release fishing. You can even take a hike through the winding wooded trails throughout the 35 acre property. The Cabin is located near southern Hocking Hills State Park and surrounding caves, parks and trails!

    Guests will have full access to the cabin, the fully stocked pond, and the 35 acres of walking trails.

    For the security and safety of our guests and cabin, we have an external camera located on the side of the cabin that is aimed directly at the parking area and above the front door to monitor check-in/check-out times and the number of guests entering the cabin. They will be on during your stay.

    Please note that although internet is provided, it cannot be guaranteed due to its rural location, inclement weather, or issues stemming from the service provider.

Great place and stay

The location was great. The pond is stocked with various fish (ie bass, bluegill) and they were biting heavily. The home was well maintained and had all the needs of a family traveling to this location. Thx for a great stay! Will be back again!

Perfect hidden gem !!

The cabin was absolutely beautiful! So accommodating, all of the cooking utensils and supplies you could need! Spacious but yet cozy, the blankets and pillows , towels etc extremely comfortable and soft! The pond was a hit for swimming and fishing, the hot tub was extremely clean and well maintained. We truly enjoyed every aspect of this property and have already marked it as one to return to!!

Amazing

The cabin was absolutely beautiful. The pond was definitely a hit with the kids for fishing, and they were in the hot tub every single day. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our vacation. My only complaints…… 1) The property was around a 30 minute drive to the State Park. Not the 15 minutes as advertised. 2) The hiking trails on the property weren’t marked. So it was quite difficult to get a good direction to go. All in all, this place is definitely a 10/10

We just spent the past couple of nights here and had a wonderful time. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. This place was amazing! Super clean! The property was beautiful! The pond and fire pit were so relaxing to sit by. The hot tub was perfect after hiking and the fireplace felt so cozy on the cool nights. We definitely will be back when we head to Hocking Hills.

Excellent private property for our family of 5. Pretty secluded, it was about a 25-30 minute drive away from most of the hikes with lots of winding roads surrounding. Our kids loved the pond and fishing on the dock as well as the large porch and bunk beds. Clean and cozy house with lots of soft blankets and a clean hot tub. good communication from the host about check-in and out procedures.

This was the perfect place for us. It was a girls trip so we appreciate the separate rooms. We cought fish from the pond. Hot tub and fireplace was nice also. Only thing it doesn't have is foil or cling wrap so bring that. If i make it back to Hocking hills i want to stay there

We highly recommended staying here! Our family of 6 was very comfortable. The location is perfect with an amazing property. Everything was so clean. And the beds, pillows, and towels were all high quality. We would definitely book again! Communication with the host was great too.

The house was so beautiful inside and out! The cleanest house we have ever stayed at hands down! Wonderfully quiet area - we enjoyed sitting outside on the deck listening to the birds and the stream. My husband enjoyed the fishing - caught quite a few fish - even the big one!We did hiking at Hocking Hills state park and Moonville tunnel which were worth the trip. Most of the places to explore are about 30 minutes away, we packed lunch and drinks for the day and relaxed at night at the cabin. We even took a day trip to the Columbus Zoo - less than 2 hours away. We had a great time staying in the area and the house was perfect! Thank you for sharing your house!

Relaxing weekend

Cabin was very nice and was just like the pictures. The water was low in the pond which was no one’s fault but was not able to fish but the deck and seating was nice to sit and relax. Would recommend!

Wonderful ambience with a cozy cabin and a secluded outdoor space - The cabin was very clean and we appreciated the propane fireplace as well for the heat and peacefulness. Listening to the cows down the road at twilight and hearing the fountain at the pond just added to the country experience! The hot tub and cabin were in great condition and it was clear they were a priority for guests. And, our host even shipped back an expensive item one of my kids accidentally left… Great stay!!

Everything was as described and believe it or not, better than expected. The property was beautiful. My gf and myself just needed a quick relaxing getaway and this was totally what was needed. We laughed thinking we’d use the hot tub, never got in it. We did stay up the entire night talking, laughing, playing music and playing guitar. So many memories made. Def come back with warmer weather to enjoy the pond and just more outdoor time. Felt cozy and completely removed from the entire world. Check-in and out was a breeze other than we wanted another day. Highly recommended. I’ve rented all over the country and this is a place we’ll be back for round two. Zero complaints. Thanks for sharing your home with us. We loved it.
