"We were there offseason, so most of the hotel, including the restaurant, was closed down. Not a bad thing, because there were plenty of local opportunities for food and beverages. The rooms right over the surf zone were delightful if you're good with a constant roar of the ocean. If you're more sensitive to heavy surf noise, request a room on the street side. Very well kept property. Friendly staff."

"This hotel definitely comes with a bit of a workout — there are quite a few stairs to climb to get around the property. That said, it’s one of those rare cases where the effort genuinely pays off. The views from up top are absolutely stunning and make every step worth it. The room itself was fantastic. It was spacious, well-equipped, and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The highlight, though, was the balcony — overlooking the ocean with a clear view of the sunset. It was the kind of view you don’t get tired of, no matter how many times you see it. Service was fairly simple and no-frills, but the staff were attentive when needed and made sure things ran smoothly throughout my stay. Another big plus is the location. It’s close enough to downtown to be easily walkable, which made exploring the area convenient without needing transportation. Overall, if you don’t mind a bit of climbing, this place delivers where it counts — views, comfort, and a solid location."

"We really enjoyed our stay here in early December. The room decor was lovely and the beds were on opposite end of an L shape so it was great for sharing with a friend. The pool was lovely, location excellent, staff very friendly, and just a really nice ambiance and view of the trees and flowers. The only things that could have been improved were the staff playing music all day from 8 AM which may very well be hotel policy I didn’t ask, but it’s not something I enjoy personally, although their taste was quite good. Also, the hotel was quite empty when we were there and they were using that time to fix up several things around the pool, which was a bit inconvenient the first couple of days as we had specifically booked for the pool. That said, the staff went out of our way to make sure it was accessible to us. The shared kitchen closes at 8 PM which was a bit inconvenient but understandable as they don’t have overnight staff. It’s also not really useable for cooking all of your meals but great to be able to keep some cold bevvies and snacks in the fridge. Overall, we thought it was good value for money and I would absolutely return! * Note for the owners if you happen to see this – all of the pillows provided or much too overstuffed for either myself or my friend to use. They’d be fine for a larger person, but we had to use folded up towels. It is possible they would’ve provided something else, we just kept forgetting to ask during the day. "
