"Socrates hotel is in a great quiet location with the beach, Stalis, Malia strip and the old town all within 10 to 15 minutes walk. The staff were all really helpful and did everything possible to ensure my family had a great holiday. The rooms were cleaned every day with new towels and bottles of drinking water provided. "Rooms are very spacious, the pool area is lovely and there were always enough sunbeds without the need to get up early. The hotel is situated in a lovely peaceful location but only a 15 minute walk from the centre of Malia in one direction and Stalis in the other direction. It was a short walk to the bus stop to get the bus into Heraklion.
