"There were numerous things that were misleading about this property on booking. The major issue being the 4th double bedroom was downstairs in the garage. Exposed to the cold, far away from others in the house and we were unable to use it as a bedroom which made sleeping arrangements difficult as a party of 8 (2 families). Another inconvenience for our travels was the washing machine was not working. When we called Bachcare they said they knew about this and therefore had not listed a washing...

"We were two familys staying for three nights. A very charming place with everything we needed. Plenty of space and a short walk to the city centre. "

"We really enjoyed staying so close to the lake and just a short walk from town. The house was very nice. The beds were comfortable and the wood stove in the living room made everything so cozy. The kitchen was well appointed. It was just a nice little cottage in a very pretty and convenient area."

"The view of lake Wakatipu from the property is stunning. There is a long stairs to the property that may not be suitable for the eldery with limited mobility. The spiral stairs to go up to the loft bedroom is very narrow and may be unsafe for small children. The house was hotter than the sauna when we entered. We would have given a 5 stars rating, if the air conditioning was turned on prior to our arrival. "
