"Maun lodge accepted a last minute reservation after another hotel was overbooked and picked me up at the airport 90 minutes later. Staff was friendly and helpful. The facility is a little older but still nicely maintained and the evening dinner specials are a pretty good deal. Glad my first hotel was oversold and I was able to stay here."

"Great place, very helpful staff. They help to arrange a ride to elephant havens and back. Awesome spread for breakfast and a great selection on the dinner menu. We will be back."

"The property was clean, but substandard in most areas. The welcome on arrival was pretty much non existent and we were told our confirmed Expedia booking didnt exist. The room was very small and the shower more so. There was 1 towel for 2 of us, though another was delivered on request. The aircon, which was essential leaked water when switched on. We put down a towel to catch the drips, but by morning the curtains (which incidently couldn't be opened) were drenched as was the towel we placed...

"I arrived really late in the evening. I was able to order a sandwich from the kitchen before it closed. There is nothing around the area. My major concern was that there were a ton of insects that I had to kill so they didn't bother me while I slept. I left early in the morning to join a safari tour."

"Quaint little hotel. Clean rooms and helpful staff"

"Parking en el Interior muy práctico. Habitación grande, sin ducha pero con bañera. Piscina. Frigorífico en las habitación. Tienen una cocina muy limpia y bien equipada que te dejan usar con la condición de que limpies lo que ensucies, lo cual se agradece pues permite hacerte un buen desayuno con lo que hayas comprado."

"I absolutely loved my stay here. The staff were all very friendly, the rooms were perfect and the bar/restaurant has all you need. I also liked that there were walks you could do around the property, and the Kudu residents are very cute (still wild, they visit at night). Would definitely stay again."

"WILL NOT HONOR YOUR RESERVATION. A member of my party arrived on the check in date with the confirmation from Hotels.com. The concierge informed them there was no record of the reservation and that the KESMO LODGE DOES NOT WORK WITH HOTELS.COM. Hotels.com worked with me to resolve the issue, but the Kesmo Lodge was completely absent and not part of the solution. "

"Expedia took my money for the booking but there was no response from the property via messages or telephone and after taking a taxi to get there the place was closed. Need a full refund- how can Expedia still take the money if the property is not operating????"

"Don’t let the neighborhood fool you, it is after all Africa and it is inside a gated compound, very safe. It is a brand new place that still has a few kinks to work out. Like installing shower curtains. The apartments are very spacious and comfortable. Great value for the money. Recommend having a car, but doable with local cabs. Be sure to call ahead for directions, even though they have signs up, they are easy to miss. Natty, the manager, was very helpful and doing a wonderful job. We would...

"Mr. Kabo was very helpful and attentive and we are grateful for his hospitality. We are allowed to late checkout and free airport transfer as our flight was scheduled in the late afternoon."

"They canceled our reservation literally at the last minute without any notification whatsoever; leaving us stranded at the Maun Airport. Then the manager refused to give us a refund. Both Expedia and I tried to rectify the situation for over an hour while still at the airport all to no avail. This feels like quite a scam! They took a reservation and almost $300 USD. Canceled the reservation without notice and kept the money!!! Expedia said they couldn’t drop the hotel out of their system unless...
