"Es handelt sich nicht um das ähnlich kostspielige Khwai Tented Camp, sondern lediglich um ein mobiles Zeltcamp mit einfachsten kleinen Zelten. Zwar war der Service der 5 Begleitpersonen gut, jedoch war die Getränkeauswahl extrem begrenzt! Wegen der trügerischen Verwechslungsgefahr zur weitaus komfotableren Lodge sind wir deshalb insgesamt ziemlich enttäuscht gewesen (2 Nächte für 2 Personen = 1200€) Was bleibt ist immerhin die Erfahrung mitten im Busch zwischen wilden Tieren geschlafen zu haben."

"The Island Safari Lodge is a great option for those staying in Maun to explore the Okavango Delta, Chiefs Island, and Morami. The property is massive with extensive walking trails and wildlife. "Staff are frendly but i got bed bug bite all over my body~!! And the place is not quite that place on the map. It is more southen place and it is so far from okavanggo delt gate. If you are ok to sleep with bed bug, i recommend the place"

"We arrived at the Rivernest Boutique Cottages, and were told that they had been overbooked (though we had booked online several months prior) and that we were to be moved. We were sent to a different hotel a few minutes drive away, and given a room. The hotel we were re-booked at was cheaper than Rivernest, and we did not receive a credit or a refund of any kind. We had heard good things about this place, but unfortunately got to experience none of them. Good luck!"

"I have been in this lodge 2 days with my sons. I liked the style, the view and the staff. But in particular the surrounding area was amazing small rivers, lakes, wildlife was all there! Lions with cubs, a family of hyenas, antelopes, giraffes, wildebeests, bison… beautiful!"
