"Pros- The bures were really spacious and the beds comfy, gardens lush and well maintained. Breakfast had enough choice. Staff were very nice and helpful. Cons- The resort is definitely in need of maintenance everything is starting to look like it’s falling apart particularly around the pool restaurant area. We didn’t have a hot shower the whole time we were there. The food was just ok and not many options around."

The people living in the village next door are very friendly and the children are very nice and respectful. The spa is wonderful. "Our room overlooked the sea and we had a patio on the second floor. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. Our room was maintained daily which was nice to come back and have a fresh bed and towels. The connivence of having little shops on the premises and very local enough to walk to with a sunny view and sunset view in the evenings was something else. Would 1000% go back if for nothing else but to see the family we made whilst staying. 🌸❤️🙏"

"Paid for 2 x family vila and got 2 x standard rooms. With broken showers. Stain on bedsheets. 1 x smelly towel. Aircon remote in 1 x room didn’t work and the other room had water leaking from aircon pipe. Worst experience for me and my guests in my birthday. Need a refund for my downgrade that never happened. Music going on till 10:30pm. I was then shifted to a room at 11:30pm as they couldn’t find a remote control to turn the ac off. Please avoid this vila at all cost."

"Well there was noise coming out from it at night , unsafe environment and then also the furniture was torn and look so old and ugly . Not even breakfast provided not the bedsheets. Towels had stains and so does bedspread . Unsafe since the security level is so poor."

"Massively disappointed. We booked & paid for a private plunge pool bure and arrived at the hotel to find we had a been allocated a beach front bure. The hotel did nothing to compensate or reimburse the difference in cost. Look at the bad reviews on most booking platforms, it seems to have happened regularly at Tambua Sands."
