"It was really good! The hotel room was clean and neat. There was a rainfall shower head. The hotel is being renovated so the outside looks like a prison but the inside looked amazing!! Elevator needs updating. But other than that we will definitely be back!!!"

"The cottage is a treasure and the island is beautiful. Wonderful views of herons and other wildlife always outside the back windows! Our family of six (including four teenage boys) stayed comfortably at the house. It felt like borrowing a friend's well-stocked vacation home. Plenty of kitchen gear and dishes for cooking (which we used several nights). Things to consider: to access the Gloucester Point area, you must cross a draw bridge. It is a cool bridge to cross, but every time you go into Gloucester, you must pay a 2 toll. Also, you can be delayed if a ship is crossing. We had to wait 15-20 minutes one morning on our way to Williamsburg. Also, the property is well-decorated and cozy, but not brand new, and has a few quirks. We had some small ants in the kitchen, but the hosts had some bait traps out. Overall, I would highly recommend this unique stay if you are coming to the area!"

"We stayed in a 2-bedroom premier duplex and found it to be just what we needed while traveling with our young daughter. The space was clean, comfortable, and gave us plenty of room to spread out, which made a big difference for our family. Check-in was easy and efficient, and we really appreciated all the amenities available during our stay—from the pool to the playground/putt-putt and convenient parking. Everything was well-maintained and made our trip more enjoyable. I also really appreciated that the staff wasn't pushy about selling us on a timeshare, which I had zero interest in. While the interior was outdated, it didn’t take away from the overall comfort and cleanliness of the space. One downside was that we weren’t able to check in early, even though we had requested due to us attending a funeral that evening. It was a bit inconvenient after a long day of travel. Overall, it was a great stay and met our needs well for a family-friendly trip."
