The property and house were absolutely adorable and the accommodations were exactly what we needed for a weekend away. "We spent a month at this beautiful peaceful retreat & it was wonderful. The home is a rustic, unique A-frame situated right on the Rappahannock River. We had the privilege of seeing several bald eagles from the back deck during our stay. It was very comfortable and we felt like we were at home while we were there. We brought our Labrador Retriever who enjoyed his stay as well. Would highly recommend this property to others who are looking for a laid back place to stay complete with tranquility...

"We never got to stay at the property because Expedia never posted the booking and it is impossible to contact Expedia to resolve any type of issue. I wouldn't recommend that anyone use that site to book a reservation. We were traveling and was 3 hours from home and was turned away from the resort because Expedia had not given the information to the resort. We had to find last minute accommodation and are still trying tl get our money back. "
