"Lovely staff, room was clean and had everything you need."

"Our stay at Il Mondo Boutique Hotel was excellent. Area around the hotel was very peaceful and we felt totally safe walking around even after sunset, and the CBD is just a short walk across Kangaroo Bridge with a nice view of CBD skyline. Hotel staff were very nice and helpful and the hotel was very clean as was the room. We would definitely return if we ever visit Brisbane again. Our ranking is 10/10."

"Good location. Fully contained serviced apartments and good amenities. Shower small and poor shower screen design, water leaks out the side. Definitely need the floor towel. Overall a pleasant stay."

"We appreciated the self service laundry and they were so sweet acknowledging our honeymoon at check in and accommodating us getting our room a tad early. It is a wedding venue so if youre there on a wedding weekend expect a wait for the elevator, potentially some loud noise, and you have to utilize a paid carpark."

"From the moment we arrived we were greeted with friendly staff. They were more than happy to assist in any questions or concerns we had. Our room had great views even with the partial river view. Food and drink was great. We were only there a few nights but looking forward to another stay"

"This was a very nice hotel! Nicely equipped kitchen, nice big shower, comfortable bed with extra blanket! The best was the washer and dryer in our room! The location in cbd was perfect. Close to shopping! I would recommend and would definitely stay here again if ever in Brisbane"

"Great apartment close to CBD. Very comfortable bed. Central perfect. Always stay punthill."

"We love staying at the Star Grand Brisbane. However this time at the restaurant at the Sky Deck they had an Oyster and Domaine Chandon Happy Hour from 4 - 6. We went up and ask for the promotion which was $3 Oysters and a glass of Chandon for $12. We were told by the young girl there that they had run out of oysters. I said ok I will just have a glass of Chandon for $12. She politely told me I could not have the Chandon for $12 because I wasn't having the oysters. To which I replied but...

"The room was convenient for a short stay. It was quiet at night and was conveniently located."

"The studio apartment itself was great - very spacious, very well-equipped and exceptionally clean. The king sized bed was very comfortable. The check in process was easy and straightforward. The location is good, being very close to Woolloongaba restaurants/eateries and an easy 18 minute walk to South Bank. Buses also run continuously to South Bank from the Mater Bus Station. The only negative thing I should mention, is that it is very noisy with constant traffic noise, sirens and helicopters,...

"Unfortunately the room smelt of cigarettes badly, so much so my clothes smelt afterwards. It was mainly in the bathroom. The property was a good size but needs a refurbishment. Quite old furnishings and carpet etc. Would only stay again if compensated for the cigarette smell."
