"Staff is rude. They are not respectful in how they talk to any clients nor how they treat clients. We are treated like we are an annoyance or inconvenience to them. This place has really gone downhill over the past 2 years. There was no hot water even though they advertised hot water. When I mentioned it to the front desk, the guy just shrugged his shoulders at me. We are no longer able to bring in ANY food or drinks. The kids wanted pizza but they told us we couldn't bring it in ... but...

"The bathroom tiles and floor had mold in it and the mosquitos, were the worse experience ever. I’ve never experienced such a horrible amount of mosquitoes in any hotel or house here in Nicaragua like this hotel. The hotel is beautiful, the breakfast is great and the staff friendly but when I complaint to them about the mosquitoes, they just told me it’s normal because the Managua lake is closed to it and that was their excuse and they just gave me a mosquito repellent that was too strong for me...

"Location is unbeatable. I've used this hotel several times now (>5) as a 1-night stay for late/early flights. The location is amazing for getting to/from the airport and car rentals. The hotel itself is good; it's 'classic' decor can seem outdated, but it fits its style. The room was clean, staff was friendly (as usual), and the breakfast is good. A no-brainer for a 1/2 night stay while travelling or waiting for a connection."
