"Room was clean. Checked in at 1pm on Saturday remotely as reception closed at 12pm. Was out all day on Sunday and received a letter under our door that we hadn’t checked in and a call out fee would be charged. Unfortunately reception was not open on the Sunday morning we went out and was closed by lunchtime. Upon returning that evening our access card had been deactivated. We called the after hours number and spoke to the contact and he was rude and obnoxious. Lucky a permanent resident was able to give us access to our accommodation. "

"Booked room including breakfast so was a bit disappointed to find that extra charges were applied for certain items (eg. Second cup of coffee) Just seemed unnecessarily mean and spoilt an otherwise enjoyable stay."

"I stayed at this hotel for two nights. Based on the room description, it was supposed to include cookware, an oven, and other kitchen facilities, but these were not provided. I raised this with the hotel staff, but they were not very friendly and did not acknowledge their mistake or offer an apology. They offered to move me to an apartment-style room with cookware; however, that room did not have the full water view that I had specifically booked. The staff claimed that Expedia made a mistake in the description, but Expedia would only use the information provided by the hotel, so this explanation was not convincing. I also asked for some bottled water, and the staff were reluctant to provide it. During my stay, two out of the three lifts was broken, which resulted in long waiting times. Additionally, my room key card repeatedly stopped working and had to be reactivated multiple times. Overall, the room was not what I expected, the staff were not friendly or helpful, and the location is not convenient for getting to the city. I would not stay at this hotel again."

"ASK ABOUT CONSTRUCTION WORK NEXT DOOR it would have been nice to be advised that construction was next door as the jack hammers were from 8am to 4pm - all day every day (5 day stay) The service at the front counter on departure is an issue I asked a question re lost and found - the assistant had no idea and would ask anyone and simply said no. Did not care "
