"Stayed 4 nights. On the second night, there was loud music and jumping from an event until after midnight, and it was impossible to sleep in our room. When we called the front desk, they said they could not do anything because the event had its own contract. The next day, they apologized, said it was a mistake, waived that night’s charge, and moved us to the 3rd floor. However, that did not make up for losing the next morning’s work due to a headache and lack of sleep. As a 100-year-old hotel, the walls are thin, and noise travels easily. Cleanliness was also below expectations. Overall, stay one night if you want to experience a 100-year-old hotel, but not more than that."

"The location was perfect for our event at the RBC Convention Centre."

"Room was clean and the hotel is under renovation but the last few times we’ve been there we never see any renovations in the rooms we are assigned. The lobby and restaurant, lounge are well designed, nicely decorated and modern looking but the guest rooms need redecorating desperately, they look worn and dated. Front desk staff, bar & restaurant staff and the valet staff were excellent!!"

"Parking is tight but had no issues finding a spot. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance. "

"Our 4 person stay was then only 2 persons. Very quiet in the building. Excellent view. Everything we needed was there. Very comfortable beds and lots of linens.I had issues figuring out the what passcodes to what entrance but was quickly and promptly rescued by the owners. Will be back and would like to stay there again."
