"I have used Hotel Ballast exclusively when traveling to Wilmington, NC. I have always had the use of a walk in shower. However, this trip was different. I was placed in room 637 which had a bathtub with the use of a shower. I was not given the option of a room with a walk in shower. Based on ones age and to prevent accidents, rooms should be age appropriate based on guest needs. The room also had an extra door. I could see other guest or employees walking by that door. "

"we stayed for one night, the staff that checked us in was an angel, she helped figure out somethings that were out of places and we got to our room in under 10 minutes. if there was no issue we would have been to our room in no time. super speedy and efficient service. room was clean and tv was easy to use, staff was nice and caring. breakfast was good, good variety. checkout was smooth and simple and the hotel clerk was yet again very kind and helpful!"
