Charming Beach Cottage, Steps To Beach; Ocean Views, Reasonably Priced

After spending a week in this nicely decorated beach cottage in Maushop Vilage, steps from the private beach, you will never want to go home and you will never want to stay anywhere else on the Cape.

This charming 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath cottage with gorgeous ocean views from both the downstairs patio and upstairs Juliet balcony comes fully equipped for a great beach vacation. The set-up is perfect for families with two twin beds in one room, a queen bed in the master, and a couch in the living room. Unit has been freshly painted to give it a very clean feel.. Kitchen has a brand new electric stove and a new dishwasher. Neither are shown in the pictures. Cottage is equipped with wifi, a new full flat screen 42' HDTV with new additional flat TV's in each bedroom for those unwelcome rainy days. With two patio areas, one with an ocean view, there is plenty of outdoor space for grilling and playing with the kids. Both patios have lovely, full tables and new chairs with a BBQ on the patio off the kitchen for your enjoyment. The cottage is also directly across from a grassy field where the kids can play baseball while the adults watch and enjoy a glass of wine from their private patio feet away. Cottage has large fans in lower level and each bedroom plus a portable air conditioner that can switch between bedrooms.

The cottage is outfitted with brand new comfortable furniture in keeping with the beach theme. What's more this cottage is located just steps from the beautiful private beach for Maushop residents and renters and is just a short walk to the Popponeset Marketplace where you can enjoy the free concerts from Thursday - Sunday, drinks and lobster rolls at the famous Raw Bar, shopping, ice cream and mini-golf. For a broader choice of dining and activities the cottage is just a short drive from Mashpee Commons where there is additional shopping, grocery stores, movies, bowling and various restaurants, and it is within a half an hour of both Falmouth and Hyannis. The cottage comes with one private parking spot and any additional cars must find a visitor's space.

Finally, for you to enjoy a complete weekend on the Cape, rentals in summer run Sunday to Sunday; so, no breaking up your weekend fun.

Just bring your beach towel, your beach chair, and prepare yourself for a wonderful, relaxing week where you wake to the beautiful sunrises over the ocean and fall asleep to the sound of the waves.

Great location

We had a wonderful family vacation at this property. The owner was so helpful and communicative. We loved the location. We really appreciated the two minute walk to the beach and quick walk to the Poppy Market which we visited daily for morning coffees and dinner. The water views off the back patio were beautiful. Would definitely recommend!

Great location!

We loved staying at this townhouse. The setup and size worked out great for my family with two small kids. I loved sitting out and reading on the patio that overlooked the ocean. The location was amazing -just a short walk to the beautiful beach. We enjoyed biking to dinner twice and enjoying all that the Marketplace has to offer. We hope to stay again someday!

Great location. Awesome spot for a group (MANY units) One of the bartenders at Raw Bar was kind of rude but AWESOME lobster roll! We'd definitely return!

Great location, clean house, walking distance to Marketplace where we enjoyed Monster lobster rolls with no or min mayo. Weather could be better, but this is the only issue we had.

VERY RELAXING

Very quiet community. Beach was wonderful. Long stairs going down but we persevered. Not in any pictures or description. Comfortable beds which is very important. Everything we needed but could use some new coffee machines. Overall good experience and owner easily contacted.

HI, We had a very nice time, loved the view from the patio! I will have to say that we were extremely disappointed with the WIFI! My husband had to work and was unable to ..connection was very very poor, if at all! Also, there was definitely an ant problem. We didn't use the 2nd bedroom so the sheets are clean. 1 more thing, there wasn't a blow dryer which I expected so didn't bring one . Thanks, Liz and JIm

Comfortable Convenient Beach Cottage

Our stay was wonderful, and we enjoyed perfect summer beach weather. Condo-style cottages. Main floor was flanked on either end with a patio w/table & 4 chairs. Open floor plan with soothing cross-breeze, fully-applianced eat-in kitchen (w/table for 4), 1/2 bath & living room w/seating for 4, TV w/xfinity service & several apps. Cape Cod beach/ocean theme throughout. Upstairs a stacked washer/dryer were smartly hidden and a full bath split 2 dormered BRs. 1 BR had a queen bed & the other had 2 twin beds, the wi-fi/internet router, and a 'portable' A/C unit that was able to keep the air cool but more importantly was effective in mitigating the oceanside humidity to allow for comfortable sleeping. A floor stand fan was available to share the cool air between bedrooms. Clothing storage was very limited. Each bedroom had an adjoining balcony but the balcony was inaccessible from the room with the AC because the exhaust ductwork was secured through the sliding door. The walk to the beach was very convenient (less than 300 steps from door to sand), but be prepared to navigate a solid staircase down the bluff w/ seating at the top and halfway down for those who might need a rest. The private beach was clean w/plenty of open sand & late July water was upper 70's. Market Square was a 1 mile walk/2min drive and offered great seafood, coffee/bakery, ice cream, pizza, candy, groceries, clothing/gifts & live music. Popponesset Inn also nearby offers upscale waterfront dining.

The unit was very nice - bigger than I expected. Unfortunately the communication with the host was very poor - even something as simple as directions on how to get in the unit were so poor and confusing- we had to ask another resident if we were entering the correct place. The WiFi password given to us in the instructions from the host was incorrect and she did not get back to us until the next day with the correct password. Overall our stay was great - these things did not keep us from having a wonderful time away. I like this community very much but don’t think I’d rent from this person again.

Great weekend stay!

We had a great visit. This unit is in a perfect location with great views of the water. You can walk to the beach in just a few minutes. You can also walk over to the marketplace and it’s a short drive to many shops and restaurants. We hope to stay again sometime!

Excellent accommodations in Cape Cod

We really enjoyed our stay at this cute townhouse in New Seabury while staying in Cape Cod for 4 days in September. We loved sitting out on the patio in the evenings to eat dinner--so beautiful. The townhouse has everything you need and it is in a lovely part of Cape Cod. Hope to come back some day!

wonderful beach house get away

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, with the best part being drinking our coffee out on the balcony overlooking the ocean. The warm breeze and beautiful scenery were so uplifting. The beach house was decorated lovely. We will be back.
