There is a front porch, a back room with amenities for tea/coffee, fridge, ice, microwave etc. You can sit inside there or down the stairs where there is another fridge. "The cottage at Sierra Mountain Inn was great for us. We were traveling with our retriever, and the surrounding garden provided a peaceful area to walk her. There were also great dog walking options nearby. It was also convenient to nearby dining options on Main Street, the tables in the garden allowed us to have takeout there."

"I need to travel to grass Valley for two months for my nursing program. I found this hotel and decided to book it based on the price and was not expecting much because of the price. I was pleasantly surprised! The unit is very big. When you first walk in, you have a bathroom area to the left and then a fridge and microwave on the right and then you walk down a few stairs into the actual room which is a very large space. It doesn’t come with a lot of extras, but it was definitely worth the price...
