"We could not have had a better stay. The hosts are so kind and helpful. The food was great. The rooms are cozy. The baths have lots of hot water and great shower pressure. We also had a lovely walk around the village after dinner. We definitely recommend. "

"Fab location near to the port and beach. Fabulous bed and bedding. lovely size room. Great breakfast. Very friendly staff. Not near to the 'shopping' end of town if that is what you are looking for. But defo worth a stay."

"If you are looking for a vfm option in West Bay this hotel is the place. We had room 7 on the first floor, spacious, whirlpool bath and even a teapot. In our opinion 2 negatives for this room, the mattress was way too soft and the seagulls from 0400hrs, can't really do anything about the 2nd being near the sea!!! The breakfast is quality, great choice and only £10 per day. The hotel is not statebor modern if that is what you are looking for, however the atmosphere and staff make up for it."

"Lovely and pleasant place to stay for 3 nights. Nice staff, friendly and helpful. Room is great, sea view, clean and replenish everyday. Food in the George is very very good, plentiful too. Will go back when we are in Bridport again."
