"Nice place. Good price. Good access/parking. Comfortable bed. Decent breakfast. Zero to complain about."

"Highly recommend! So cool."

"The furniture needs replacing. Suggest a higher rack in closet for hanging clothes. Water pressure in shower was excellent."

"The coffee and tea all day access was wonderful. Hotel staff friendly and informative. Best to visit Thursday-Sunday as much of the town is not open Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. The restaurant had great staff but unfortunately was out of a lot of things on the menu. Waited very long just for a salad."

"The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was quite good especially compared to other similar properties. Each morning, they changed their menu and it was always quite tasty. The staff kept everything full [buffet style] and they were always ready for a crowd. The restaurant next to the Best Western served a very tasty dinner. The menu was mostly Indian food . I requested it to be mild and they had no issues with my request."

"Room was adequately cleaned ( lots of hair in shower ) crumbs on floor but the facilities were maintained. Front desk manager was not very nice when mold was found in the coffee pot for breakfast she was snippy and dismissive about it. Food in bar downstairs was ok."

"The Rest Hotel in downtown Plymouth is a gem of a find! Quaint, cute, perfect location, perfect amenities, and the rooms were much better than "normal" hotels. However, the best part of our visit was the staff. They are caring, responsive, polite, and fun! My wife will only stay at the Rest Hotel when we return to Amador County Wine Country!"

"The Innkeeper was wonderful, three-course breakfast was outstanding. Property is upscale, warm, and beautiful. I would go again in a heartbeat."

"To quote Bette Davis, "What a dump." Feels like skid row, starting with reception behind plexiglass. Then it gets worse"

"The proprietors were wonderful people. This place is a must if you’re ever in the area. Artfully created with thematic rooms."

"We were fortunate to get a room on the backside of the hotel because the front side is close to the highway. We had some problem with the check in procedure, but the owner was quick to help. It could use some remodeling, but otherwise clean, quiet and comfortable."

"Unfortunately our room (which was very nice) was next to the laundry room. At least two times around 1:00 am and 2:00 am, someone was slamming doors which woke my husband and myself up from a restful sleep. We also were hearing loud noises, and were not sure if it was the washing machine, or the elevators. Maybe suggest a sign for the laundry room for washing times from 7 am-10 pm. Next time we will ask not to get a room next to the laundry room and elevators."

"This little cabin was perfect! You can see the main house from the driveway and front door, but with the direction of the home and an umbrella, you feel like you're all by yourself in the woods. There are some pups, but they were well behaved and didn't come around often. This is a great little cabin—perfect for a 2 person get-away—with all the amenities you will need. There was a coffee maker and tea, grill on the patio, and we were able to cook breakfast and dinner each day of our stay with...
