"Lovely serene location near the canal and river (might get busy when the weather is good)..Lovely traditional spacious and comfortable rooms, in good clean condition. Communication before arrival excellent. We weren't able to use the spa bath as the plumbing currently needs re-doing to prevent leaks and there is no shelf to put the toiletries in the bathroom. "I wish I had known it was a Nepali/Gurkha restaurant before I arrived. It was ideal for my purposes, I would stay there again."

"A fabulous place to stay. We were greeted with a very welcoming pot of coffee after a long journey. We were told of things to do, places to eat but as we were going to a wedding the day after we couldn't do any walking. The room was clean and the bed so comfortable and lovely toiletries were in the bathroom. The breakfast the following morning was incredible, better than a lot of smart hotels we have stayed in. I would highly recommend Mill Lodge."

"My overall assessment on the stay would rate it no more than a three star. There are some minor maintenance issues that need to be looked into. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Food was very good and the full English was excellent. The idea of filling out what you wanted for breakfast the previous day was not really how I would like it as this might change, I would prefer to decide on the day. Conclusion: The accommodation was a little tired and in need of a spruce up."

"A nice friendly farm B and B. I was in the anex which was a 1st floor room with the bath room below. It had a whirlpool bath. I found everything clean and usable. It had a small cupboard style kitchenette which was nice with a sink element and plates, cups and cutlery with tea and coffee. The breakfast was in the main farm house next door which was nice and cooked to order by the host who was very helpful and polite. All in all I would use this accommodation again. Thanks "
