"This place really is paradise. Me and my girlfriend spent 9 nights here and had a fantastic time. The bungalows are spacious with your own sun beds overlooking the sea which is no more than 10/20 meters away. Food is very good and the portions are very generous. We did some excursions organised by the hotel and again everything ran perfect and was very enjoyable. The Tuk Tuk drivers and the taxi drivers they use are also very helpful and we felt perfectly safe and happy when we used them. The staff are all very friendly. It’s such a quiet and secluded place, the perfect place to relax and unwind. It also has the most beautiful sunsets every evening we watched them go down and felt very lucky to be in such a beautiful place. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the island."

"I loved my visit to Villa les Orchidées. The hotel was amazing and the staff were more than helpful. My three complaints are very, very minor and would not effect a decision to stay there again, however people should know what they are getting: 1) There is no hot-tub, only a pool. 2) There is no real coffee, only instant garbage. 3) The hotel soundtrack is nauseating. I have a feeling the owner, whom you will more than likely meet, likes it, but its just awful."

"Je recommande à 100 % cette villa idéalement située à l’extrémité de la plage de Madirokely à un emplacement très calme qui donne le sentiment d’avoir la plage pour soi. Bien plus agréable que la plage d’Ambatolok. A certaines heures la mer est éloignée en raison de la marée, mais cela n’a pas vraiment été un problème pour nous. La villa est très confortable (nous étions 8) avec des hauts plafonds, plusieurs salles de bains, coffre fort dans chaque chambre, des transats en nombre pour l’extérieur… L’équipe de la villa emmenée par Jeanine est très professionnelle et toujours aux petits soins pour rendre notre séjour agréable. Les chambres et la propreté sont faites chaque jour. Notre seule préoccupation consistait à choisir les plats qui seraient préparés par l’équipe. Ils étaient chaque fois excellents. Le matin au réveil la table est dressée pour le petit déjeuner avec pain beurre confiture, miel, crêpes, fruits exotiques et jus de fruits frais mis, café, thé… Dans la matinée des vendeurs viennent proposer poissons, crabes, crevettes, langoustes, calamars, poulpes…On se déplace facilement depuis la villa en recourant aux touks toutks. Il nous est arrivé qu’il n’y en ait pas à la sortie de la villa et en avons facilement trouvé à quelques centaines de mètres. On aurait pu noter les numéros de tel de certains touks touks, mais n’avons pas vraiment ressenti la nécessité de le faire. Nous avons passé des vacances inoubliables et Jeanine et son équipe y ont clairement contribué."

"We stayed for 20 nights and honestly wish we could have stayed even longer. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, every member of staff was friendly, welcoming and genuinely helpful. The reception team, restaurant staff and bar staff were all exceptional and always made us feel at home. Our room (Junior Suite B11) was spotless every day. Housekeeping did an amazing job throughout our stay and everything was maintained to a very high standard. During our holiday we were unfortunately unwell for a short time, and the hotel staff couldn’t have been more caring and supportive. Their kindness made a real difference and is something we will always remember. Towards the end of our stay, our daughter joined us for four nights. The hotel arranged a Deluxe room for her at short notice and helped organise her transport, making everything completely stress-free. The location is beautiful, the atmosphere is relaxed, and watching the sunsets from the hotel never got old. This wasn’t just a great hotel, it was a place where the staff genuinely cared about their guests. After 20 nights we felt more like friends than customers. Thank you to Andrick and the whole team for making our holiday so special. We left with wonderful memories and sincerely hope to return one day."

"Manga Soa is as close to paradise on Earth as you will find! It is a friendly, French-managed small lodge set in the most exhuberant tropical gardens imaginable! Every tropical flower & plant are found here. The managers, Roman & Ocean, are a competent, friendly can-do couple who can handle any request. Their staff is impeccably trained, yet friendly & personable. We loved the French-inspired food! With tasty tropical touches, every meal was a delight! The chef's brioche rolls were scrumptious! This is the perfect paradise! Each oversized bungalow is masterfully made from local hardwoods with true island touches. We loved the huge bed with crisp, cool linens. Lying in bed looking out over the Indian ocean is true luxury! The beach is beautiful but not always swimmable with the low tide. Ask Roman to arrange for their boat to take you to a reef or one of the nearby islands! Don't miss having a massage or 2! Prices are so reasonable & the ladies are very knowledgeable! We loved everything about our stay here and were treated like VIPs! It is a shining gem on Nosy Be. The road is now paved & it's a smooth & easy trip to the airport or Helleville."
