"I had a one night stay at the pecking Mill and I arrived around 9:30pm. Even though the other guests had all gone to bed and there was no one in the pub, the landlord was friendly and accommodating, he was willing to cook me some chips as I hadn't eaten much that day. We had a good chat about travels also. The room was clean and comfortable and I have no complaints about staying there and I would stay again. Thanks Jeff! "

"Really enjoyed our stay,hotel was ideal for us following a visit to The Fleet Air Arm Museum. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was excellent and spotlessly clean and well equipped. Food was excellent and very well presented. Would definitely recommend."

"Had a great stay here. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Evening meal was fantastic. Highly recommend the local steak if it's on the specials board. Well stocked bar with a huge selection of spirits. Filled up on the full English breakfast each morning. Well worth adding that option! Outside and car park could do with a spruce up but don't let that put you off, the interior is fantastic!"
