"The cottage is lovely. I was a little surprised/disappointed by the close proximity of other houses as the pictures make it look quite rural. A good sized cottage with a beautiful garden leading out onto a recreation ground which was ideal for the children and walking the dogs. "What to say the goods are great location for a trip to the Dorset coast architecturally the building promises so much and that’s pretty much it the property is functional and has all you need to a degree kitchen bits are hit and miss. This was supposedly new for 2020 all I can say is it must have had a hard past 4 years the property is very unloved and un kept work tops in kitchen never been oiled so now ruined over grown courtyard with stagnant water hot tub is not private as overlooked by...

"Lovely clean, very well equipped cottage with a delightful garden. All our needs were catered for. The cottage is in a fabulous setting. Ideal location for walking our dog and a wonderful pub providing exceptional food within a few minutes stroll. Splendid National Trust property almost on the doorstep. "We had a wonderful weekend in Wimborne staying at the Town House. Communication from Claire was excellent and the house is as described. Everything was super clean and well maintained, the beds were comfy, showers were fantastic and the kitchen was well equipped. House is located in the heart of Wimborne and we enjoyed afternoons on the beach in Poole and mornings exploring the Stour Valley with the dog. Great meal at Wimborne Pig and cheese and wine at Renoufs Wine Bar. 100% recommend."

"This is not the Ritz - but there are some really good points - it's lovely and quiet - so a good sleep was easy. Take your own towels - ones provided were not great - I would also say take your own bedding. One major for a couple is the double is on a mezz and the toilet is down stairs - this didn't effect me as I was on my own so slept in the single room downstairs. Owner is lovely - and my stay in Sherborne very nice. Lovely place."

"Perfect for our visit. In the area for a wedding and it really filled the bill for my wife, myself, our son and daughter and our young granddaughter. Co-op store across the street. Coffee and bakery 50 feet away. Pub with meal service 500 feet up the lane. Comfortable, large, well equipped, and charming. Will stay again at the next opportunity. Great communication with the owner and easy access to the property. "

"Cottage just georgous, lovely and quiet. We had a good rest whilst enjoying the local sites of Wells and Frome. We enjoyed a meal at the Oakhill pub at the end of the road, a very good recommendation. Beds were compfy, shower good, everything you need kitchen wise, garden great for our small dogs. The fire was great and we were kept very warm. For us, the sofa was the only downside. Ultimately we loved our stay ❤️"

"We had a lovely stay, the property was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The location for us was great, if you like walking then highly recommend. Within 40 minutes drive there is a large number of places to visit and the village has everything you need. Pub within a couple of minutes walk as well as shops for supplies. "Nice place and have been twice now but I have to be honest that I was shocked at damp and mould on walls/ceiling and around patio doors in back bedroom. No problems anywhere else in property with damp. If this property has a cleaner coming in to turn it around then I think they need to be spoken too, as when you look close it’s not great. I would return if things improved as it a lovely setting and location"

"Excellent property which was spotless, warm and cosy. A brill time was had by all 8 adults. We went to the black dog in Broadmayne New Year’s Eve. Everything we could wish for. Didn’t want to come home but all good things come to an end. Would recommend and definitely visit again."

"We had a wonderful long weekend at Armswell House. The house is stunning. Everything was catered for and everyone felt instantly at home. We all loved the walks around the area and watching the cows on the farm. Wish we could've stayed longer. PS the Victoria sponge was delicious!"
