"Beautiful property but our room smelled like piss."

"The room was clean and okay for comfort. The pullout sofa bed was very uncomfortable and the furniture was a little outdated but the floors were very dirty. Without shoes on your feet, your feet will get black. The front staff and bell boy were friendly. There are a lot of stairs to climb to get back and forth from your room to where the pool and food area are located. The food was good but the bartender/ server during the day was swamped and had no one else to help. The hotel needs to have more staff to help out during lunch and dinner service."

"I recently stayed at Margaritaville Vacation Club St. Thomas and had a mixed experience overall. The property itself was clean and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable stay. The staff stood out in a positive way—everyone I encountered during check-in and at the restaurant was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. That said, there were a few drawbacks. There aren’t many activities for kids, so it may not be the best option for families looking for a lot of on-site entertainment. The beach area is also not really suitable for swimming, which was a bit disappointing. That being said the view is beautiful and the sound of nature is amazing. The food was decent and the drinks were okay, but everything felt a bit overpriced for what you get. Another inconvenience was the layout of the resort—depending on where your room is, it can be quite a long walk, and the golf carts that provide rides are often busy or take time to arrive. Additionally, transportation off the property can be a hassle. Cabs are fairly expensive and can take a while to show up, so planning ahead is important. Overall, it’s a clean and friendly place to stay, but there are a few logistical and value-related issues to keep in mind before booking. "

"The property was unlike the pictures. The unit was nice but needed a paint job. I was not informed of the rolling black outs. The property needed upkeep and the outdoor furniture was in terrible condition. "

"Kitchen was well equipped, the villa was spotless, spacious and offers a beautiful view!Hosts were available and helpful! Cooler, beach chairs and beach towels available. Very relaxing and comfortable. "

"Very nice resort. Everyone was welcoming. Pool is clean and uncrowded. Beach area is nice too. On-site restaurant was good and easy to order to-go. Access to Westin hotel within short walk was nice too. Lots of restaurants at Westin. Very clean room and well equipped kitchen."
