There is a beautiful walking path along Mariposa Creek, just behind the hotel. It wasn't advertised anywhere, we just happened upon it while taking a walk. It is really nice. Lots of frogs and huge tadpoles.

Mariposa is an awesome hetaway from Merced, Ca. Its only a 30 minute drive. My wife and I visit quite a bit.
"Loved this hotel! Close to the park and lots to do inside. We stayed at the cottages. Wasn’t what we expected so next time we will stay in a room in the main area or the cabins. Other than that it was a 10/10. "
