"The home is a decent distance off the highway but the scenery you'll see while driving to it are gorgeous. On the first day, we saw 3 deer and 2 rabbits! The driveway is very steep and made of gravel, so keep that in mind when choosing what vehicle to bring. If it has been raining, your tires may slip a bit going up. "For what we were looking for (a quiet spot in driveable distance of Grayson Highlands and Hungry Mother State Parks) it was perfect. Notwithstanding the damage to roads from hurricane Helene, we still managed to get some supplies delivered to those in need, and to unwind from a stressful few weeks. The property was everything we could have hoped. "
