"This place is truly amazing and for the price too. The owner went out of her way to make me feel welcome. Breakfast was vast and well executed. I really do recommend this to travellers in the Foz area. Downside was timing in the year. Quiet in april but that isnt the Pensions fault!"

"This hotel is absolutely lovely, small with a friendly family run atmosphere. The room was impecabally clean and fresh, the common area full of country charm. It is around a mile to the small working fishing port, great little dining bars and panoramic views along the coastline. The hotel has a pool for guests use and a very impressive breakfast. "

"Interesting views over harbour and estuary. Easy walking to town area, but cafes and restaurants don't open until late evening for dinner which is normal for non-tourist areas in Spain. Supermarkets available on the outskirts of town. Mountain areas accessible by road. Great breakfast choice and service excellent. "

It was winter when I was there and there was no heat in the room except a stand alone unit that I had on at full blast which took the edge off. Nice folks though and good comfort. Great facilities including Sauna, pool, hot-tub, restaurant, parking. Staff English was not very good, but enough to understand what's needed. Rooms clean, up-to-date, comfortable, spacious. Standard breakfast, but well-serviced. I would definitely return and stay here again"
