Suites Marilia Apartments

"we availed of self check in at Suites Marilia which worked out well for us as the reception is closed between 12 noon and 4pm.our apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything that we required. The pool area is clean and well looked after. Unfortunately the snack bar area is limited to 2 vending machines so after a long journey all we could get to eat or drink was snack from the machine. The staff when on duty are very helpful especially with transport, as the apartments are situated in a residential area which is somewhat far away from shops, restaurants and the tourist area of the City of Livorno. The nearest bus is an 8-10 minute walk and not all buses stop at the nearest stop to the apartments."

"Great boutique hotel on the beach. Staff is so welcoming and friendly! They communicate to you all the details about how to drive over and park, including registering your car to avoid a ticket for entering and exiting ZTL. A smaller (Italians don’t eat breakfast as much as the West does) and tasty breakfast is available all morning. Check out is at 12, so you can enjoy the beach one more time! And did I mention some goodies in the room and in the fridge? Five stars."

"Love this property -we got at least once a year and they continuously invest in the water parks and pools which I appreciate. Amazing staff and entertainment. Too bad they don’t have a dedicated show area with chairs … only flaw."

"Where as we enjoyed our time here we did have a bit of an issue with our room temperature. We asked for it to be lowered as it was 81 degrees. We found out, after a very uncomfortable night and requesting 2 more times, that the AC was not working. As an aside: we could not open a window as our room was on the 1st floor and only had doors to a common area. We were moved to a new room. Other than that- the staff was lovely the pools and Spa are great. Location is wonderful with close proximity to the beach and some wonderful restaurants serving delicious seafood."
