Top Margaree Salmon Museum Hotel Reviews
What a View Cheticamp
10/10 Excellent
"very clean, owner was on site and made sure we had everything we needed. instruction for check-in was vague but simple once we got there. beautiful view and property was very modern and well kept. The only complaint was the water had a strong sulfur smell so made showering not that great. Close to town so that made it nice to go out and have supper at "le Gabriel" which was amazing and a small beach at the end of the road made it nice to walk."
Year-round Vacation Rental - Fly Fishing, Golf, Beaches, Cabot Trail & More.
8/10 Good
"The location of this cottage is amazing with breathtaking views and easy access to the Cabot trail, beaches, hiking trails, etc. Unfortunately, one of the bedroom couldn’t be used to a bad odor, and some improvement in the plumbing could help make the bathroom more appealing. That said, the host was very responsive and compensated us for the issue. Hope it will be fixed for the other guests because it’s a really nice place to stay!"
Duck Cove Inn
8/10 Good
"A simple motel with very friendly and welcoming staff. It’s in a good location, especially after completing the Cabot Trail. There is a restaurant just about 3 minutes away by car, which is very convenient. The breakfast at the motel was also good. A nice and practical place to stay for the night."
Trailsman Lodge
8/10 Good
"Clean room. Goose poop everywhere. Nice view though."
Brookside Coastal Estate | Luxury Cape Breton Retreat
10/10 Excellent
"We absolutely loved our stay at Brookside Coastal Estate. The home is even more beautiful in person, and you can tell how much thought and care has gone into every detail. Everything was spotless, beautifully appointed and incredibly comfortable. The location is fantastic. Chimney Corner Beach is so close and quickly became a favourite, especially for the sunsets, while the property itself feels peaceful and private. There is so much to enjoy without even leaving Brookside. The bridge over the brook is such a unique touch, the fire pit is beautiful in the evenings, and the hot tub was amazing after a day of exploring. The game shed was a huge hit with the kids—they loved the foosball table and Pop-A-Shot!Melanie, the property manager, was wonderful—warm, responsive, helpful and genuinely interested in making sure we had a great stay.Brookside feels like part of the vacation itself, not simply somewhere to sleep. Beautiful home, gorgeous property, incredible location and so many thoughtful touches. We would absolutely stay again and highly recommend it!"

The Normaway Inn
10/10 Excellent
"This is a wonderful property! I love antiques and it has many beautiful antiques that are still useful. When we were there they had amazing musicians in the music barn. Everyone was friendly and helpful! I will be back!"
Island Sunset Resort
10/10 Excellent
"I have stayed here before and enjoyed it every time. The views are beautiful, the cabins are super functional and clean, and there is great access to the Cabot trail."
"Belier" Hidden retreat by the ocean brtween Cheticamp and The Margarees
10/10 Excellent
"Our family (2 adults and a teen) had a wonderful stay at this lovely house on the west coast of Cape Breton. The photos in the listing don’t do it justice—the house is spacious with huge windows all around the upper level. The view of the water is spectacular from the enormous deck. The kitchen is well appointed and had everything we needed."
