"Our last visit before the hotel closes 😢. We go once a year, normally around Christmas, but as it’s closing soon brought this forward. Huge thank you to all the Grosvenor team who we have met many times over the years for their kindness and hospitality. Chester is loosing not just a hotel but a genuinely unique landmark and much of that is down to the amazing staff. I hope it will return but sadly I suspect it may never have the special/uniqueness it has had as the staff will all have moved on or even retired. Wishing all the staff and the hotel the very best for the future."

"Staff very friendly and helpful. Stayed in a king size premium room. Was very spacious. Room and bathroom very clean. Breakfast buffet excellent."
