"Our host, Shawn answered my questions promptly. There was ample parking for our one ton dually truck and trailored side by side. We had planned weekend activities; so we didn't use the outdoor firepit; but it was very nice & there was firewood for sale. The cabin is contained in the lower part of owners' home, however still felt very private. Comfortable bed & furniture. Nice ambience!Decorated like a cozy lodge w/ a fully stocked kitchenette. Lovely wooded view from living room windows. Warm bread awaited our arrival. Quality bedding & bathroom linens. TV & Wifi worked well. Coffee maker, K-cups & supplies provided!We would stay here again!"

"it was 20 degrees outside when I got to cabin. owner forgot to adjust thermostat so it was 45 inside cabin. got to 50 in cabin by 10pm, and didnt get into 60s in cabin til next day. Also had to kill 24 wasps inside cabin. owners did respind with extra wasp spray and traps. overall a really nice place with good room for dog to run and had river access which was realky high. bad timing weatherwise. if improve wasp problem would possibly return"

"Great price and value. The room was clean, good bedding and towels. The guy at the front desk was very friendly. Quiet, safe and no issues. Don’t let the appearance of the outside fool you, the rooms are nice and clean inside. "

"The host changed the reservation from the Blue house to the White house without notice. I asked for pictures, no response. We arrived at 4 p.m. as required and the property was not cleaned at all - unmade beds, unwashed linens, used towels in bathroom, old food in the fridge, etc. Contacted the host and he sent the cleaning lady over because she "forgot" to clean that day. We were on a schedule so waiting on the cleaning threw us off. We ended up leaving to our scheduled event without ever getting to use the property to change clothes, eat, etc. When we came back several hours later, the cleaning was done but there was still a dirty towel in the bathroom. The bathroom sink was VERY slow to drain. The shower and the toilet worked fine. During the check in process, I was on the phone with VRBO customer service two different times. After waiting for a "supervisor" for over 20 minutes both times, the calls were disconnected. VRBO then sent me an Email and I responded with the facts of the uncleaned property. As of this writing, I have received no response from VRBO and no offer to rectify the situation from either VRBO or the host."
