"Sadly I arrived too late for an evening meal, and looking at the menu, and then the quality of the breakfast I think I missed a treat. Room was spotless and the bed exceptionally comfortable. And then there was Karl and his un named twin brother at breakfast……… would stay again without hesitation."
"Hyacinth was the perfect host. Very friendly, approachable and solicitous. She was interested in what we were doing and if we enjoyed ourselves and was very caring and kind. The breakfast was delicious, piping hot and plenty of it. Thank you both very much for your hospitality. We shall return :)"
"Myself and 2 children had a lovely stay at The Cumberland. It has a great location across from the beach and the room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The owners were very welcoming. The breakfast has a great choice, it is plentiful, cooked fresh and tasty. We parked in the train station car park as it was cheaper for an overnight stay and not as busy as the 'tourist' car parks. It was approx. 5 minute walk via a pedestrian footpath."
"Room was spotless, owner was very welcoming and made you feel at home nothing was a problem for him. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice"
"The rooms were immaculate and the host was friendly and knowledgeable, the breakfast choice was very good and very well cooked.
Would stay there again if it was possible"
