"We loved our stay here and would stay here if we ever came back!! The rooms aren’t so modern with the furniture and bathroom and towels but it’s charming. We had a balcony that overlooked the ocean and every morning from 530-730 animals were flying around (toucans, macaws, howler monkeys) we even saw a sloth - our hotel was way better than the national park tour we had! "It was great. Not many dining options but the options they have are great. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. Lots of animal sitting and around the property. Overall a great family friendly spot. The only thing is the resort shuts down early no night life unless you taxi into town. We didn’t suffer because we were a party of 25 and just had a great time entertaining ourselves. "

My husband and i absolutely loved everything about this property from the friendliness of the staff, amazing drinks and bartenders, the gorgeous pool and views, the lush flora and fauna, its within walking distance to so many restaurants, and the abundance of wildlife. "I loved this resort! Great location, great service, breakfast was excellent. The beach was beautiful as were pools/restaurants. I saw sooo many animals. Hotel staff was so happy and so helpful. I felt completely pampered and treated like royalty. I couldn't recommend enough and I have stayed at many hotels/many countries. "Upon arrival you’re driven on the golf cart to the top of a rainforest. If you watch carefully you can spot sloths, monkeys, and amazing birds. Our villa was the perfect arrangement for our family and gave us a great place to relax. The master balcony had morning closeup vies if a sweet Scarlet McCaw couple. You could spot monkeys and toucans from the roof terrace. Cabana and dining area on roof were added extra. Staff was super attentive and helpful. Restaurant and especially breakfast was absolutely AMAZING as were the frozen cocktails and lunch and dinner too. Please see my review for La Luna. Pool was fun with midday frozen cocktail treats (mocktails too!). Beds and sheets were perfect for helping us rest. Went in McCaw tour and hike for breathtaking view and hotel arranged for friendly and informative tour guide, Clarence, at the MApark where he helped us photograph wildlife and told us facts and tidbits about the animals. Very enjoyable! Hotel does keep tabs on your arrivals/departures but you soon realize it so they can clean your room and make sure you cone back and don’t go MIA on a hike or tour if you venture on your own. Great stay, relaxing and welcoming. Definitely go back someday!"
