"We picked this hotel due to location on our way up to Scotland. Just off the M6, this hotel is tucked away without any noise from the motorway traffic. The staff were really friendly and helpful, rooms were super clean and well equipped and the bonus was being able to use the spa and pool and gym facilities during our one night stay. "

"We stayed at this wonderful hotel as we were attending the horse racing at haydock race course. The room was beautiful , the bed was divine and I slept so comfortably! There was a fan which was needed as the weather was hot (a shark fan - which is a real luxury touch) also tea and coffee making facilities, water, hairdryer, dressing table with accessible plugs! It was my husband's 40th and we had just got married and Poppy brought a bottle of fizz to our room which was such a lovely suprise and we were so incredibly impressed! Unfortunately we didn't have time to eat in the restaurant but it smelt delicious and the pricing seemed very reasonable. We enjoyed a few drinks before leaving for the racing and the 3 girls on the bar (sorry ladies I didn't ask your names!) were so friendly and made drink recommendations based on my taste preference, they were very professional. Overall a fantastic experience from start to finish ,I will certainly be returning to this hotel and highly recommend! Thank you to all the staff , you truly made our stay incredible. "The hotel and its surroundings were truly picturesque. The rooms were spotless, and while the restaurant offered a limited selection, the overall experience was pleasant. However, one concern was the presence of dead flies on the restaurant’s window sill. Given the warm weather, this issue should have been addressed promptly to maintain cleanliness "
