The young staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming - much more so than is often found in more expensive hotels. My cheap toilet seat fell off as soon as I tried to use it. Indicative of the budget nature of the building. Everything was very clean. The bedroom was exactly as expected. Very comfortable night‘s sleep. Good value for money.

Absolutely loved the room! The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was a good size. Everything was clean and just what we needed for the one night. Aircon worked well, but the shower screen was quite small so the bathroom did get wet after every shower. Great, safe location, though parking nearby was quite expensive (it was the same in all other properties we looked at). Would 100% stay there again.

The staff at this hotel were lovely and the location is very central but we didn't have a great time here. Our room was very warm and the climate control system only seemed to pump out warm air. This meant we had to sleep with the window open in a very noisy part of Manchester. We booked to have half board meals but when we turned up for dinner were informed that due to a changing menu, there was only one starter and none of the listed desserts available. It also became apparent that the food was very basic and being heated up by the hotel receptionist. Every member of staff we met at this hotel was lovely but the hotel and its food offering were incredibly basic for the price we paid. I've had far better stays in Manchester for far less money.

Nice hotel in a good location in the city centre, we mainly walked or took the bus and were there for 2 nights. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Surprisingly, there was no fridge in the room! Bathroom was very small and a bit wonky! There were a few maintenance issues which we reported at check-out. Despite being on the fifth floor, we could hear noise from the street on the Saturday night but there's nothing that can be done about that. We didn't have breakfast but it looked like there was a wide selection of items to choose from so probably good value for money.

Very basic hotel. It’s looking very tired with damaged lifts, stained carpets and barely working air con. It’s well located if you want to get to the centre of Manchester and the rooms are quieter than most central hotels.
