"The hotel is well located on the seafront, with a lovely ocean view and direct access to a large mall, with good shopping and food options. The room was clean and nicely furnished, spacious with a very comfy bed and plenty of hot water. The pool is on the 6th floor and is clean and well maintained, however there is no shade, there are umbrella holders, but sadly no umbrellas, lots of guests were looking for shade. "The staff at Best Western The Lagoon Manado were excellent. Sonya / David and their team made sure to give us the utmost attention and care beyond our expectations. They truely deserve a commendation. However, the hotel pool bar currently isn't operational (it would be nice if it was). Also, some of the windows on our room were not sound-proofed properly and as a result we were often awoken in the middle of the night by loud noises from the outside. Perhaps the windows could do a revamp."

"I used to stay in this hotel several years ago but my recent stay was not as good as I remembered . The room was not as clean as it’s supposed to be, the bathroom and sink were dirty and full of stains. The towel looks dingy. The breakfast buffet is okay. The staff was very nice and so helpful."

"The breakfast was just okay, not much variety, and only one protein choice, usually fried. The customer service wasn't great either, and I didn't feel like I got my money's worth. On my last day, they suddenly gave me a menu and said I could pick something if I didn't like what was available. I was there for four days and never got that option before. I guess it was their last attempt to fix things, but it was too little, too late."
