  • This true ski-in, ski-out, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom Mammoth vacation rental features wall-mounted flat screen TVs in every room, Roku and DVD player in the living room, cozy gas fireplace, sectional sofa, modern rustic furniture, and the best location in Mammoth! The dining area has a round wooden dining table with seating for four next to the full kitchen. The kitchen has all of the appliances and amenities including granite counters, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, stove, oven and dishwasher. Everything you need to make a nice family dinner after a fun-filled day of skiing and riding on Mammoth Mountain! The master bedroom features a King bed and flat screen TV, while the sectional in the living room has a pull out sofabed for additional overnight guests. The full bathroom features a shower/tub combo with granite countertop. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. This condo is located on the first floor with elevator access, sleeps a maximum of 4 people, and comes with underground, heated garage parking for one vehicle (garage clearance is 8' 2"). Guests will be provided one parking pass. If more parking is required than what is allotted, feel free to call our office for alternative options. There are no stairs to this unit, no stairs inside, and no smoking or pets are permitted. Our calendar is updated in real time. Great Sunstone Location

We stayed at this rental for a short ski trip and really enjoyed the condo. The place was clean and well stocked, and the location was within walking distance to Eagle Lodge which we loved because it wasn't as crowded as Canyon Lodge. Overall, I'd recommend this vacation rental!

Excellent ski in ski out building

Sunstone is a great place to get to right off eagle express lift. I have been taking my family to this building for over 10 years, and love the simplicity of the location. Not a great place if you need night life, since you need to drive or shuttle to the village.

Perfect Short Stay

Just stayed at the perfect 1 bedroom 1 bath condo at Sunstone. 5 minute walk to Chair 15 (easy). Nice heated hot tub and pool slope slide. Good condo for a small family of 4 for a short stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a perfect spot to go skiing right at your front door. Parking is underground so your car is nice and warm during winter storms. Kids can play anywhere outside. During our stay the fireplace was not working. Someone came in to fix but wasn’t able to do it right away. Nevertheless, the room was pretty warm with no heater. We would definitely stay here again.

The. unit was in good shape. Only complaint: the TV could not get non-premium stations so we missed the Oscars: no big loss there.

The kitchen was adequate, but some of the kitchen items need replacement such as the stock pot which is missing a handle. We had a lot of problems with the internet. There is one login for the entire complex. The was a number to call in the materials provided but when we called they told me that they haven’t been contracted with the complex in over 10 years! Please update the materials in the unit on the fridge!

The unit was well equipped, and although it was hot and stuffy upon arrival, we found 2 box fans in the closet that worked wonders in cooling the place down. The bed is comfortable and the trees next to the balcony provided some shade in the morning. Sunstone is a great complex and we would definitely stay here again.

Great location. Meh unit.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Not really a condo. More of a hotel room suite. So small. Kitchen equipment low end (fridge compressor rattles at times). Why not spend the money used on the two fancy flat screen tvs for a few better pans? Had to request for clean sheets for the pull out bed as they weren’t there. That said location is great. Parking appreciated. Building systems worked even during heavy snow; gas fire place was a hit! Would stay again if small issues addressed.

Underground parking. Great community spa with view. Ski in/out. Awesome. The unit was not cleaned at 5PM even though we had already checked in. Had to come back over an hour later. The unit was dated. Carpets should be replaced. The linens were on the older side with no real blankets for the fold out sofa. Kitchen lacked cooking amenities - if you are looking to eat in bring some of your own stuff. The bath tub/shower did not drain. Had to call three times to get someone out to clear it so the water would go down. Selling point on this unit is ski in/out. Based on the time I had to spend with getting the unit cleaned and resolving the drainage issue I feel I should receive a discount. It would also be nice to have some robes for the spa!

We were able to ski-in for lunch but had to catch the shuttle bus to get back to the mountain. They should be able to tell you if the lodge and chairlift is running but... oh well, it is what it is. I hiked every day I was in Mammoth (no smoke - lucky me) and came home to a very nice unit, a wonderful hot tub every night for sore muscles, BBQ and a wonderful be. Who could ask for more? Summer fun

Located away from the village for a little quiet. The jacuzzi was perfect after a long day of hiking/fishing/swimming.

A Skier's Delight!

It was nice to see improvements made at Sunstone. There was poor internet connection which was a little frustrating, but overall the unit was comfortable and accommodating.

As advertised, but the bedroom is a little tight

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo is exactly as advertised and what we expected. It's pretty close to the exit to hit the slopes directly and near the lockers. Only minor complaint would be that there is a nice king bed in a room that's a bit small for a king, so it's a little tight to get around the room if you need/want some space.
