Overall pretty good

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Check in was quick and easy. Condo was clean and well stocked with kitchen pots/pans/utensils. Fridge and stove were old. Oven display not working - can't read or set oven temperature. Baths well equipped. Master bath shower head trickles water, barely able to use. Better showers in the common hot tub/sauna area. Overall, the place could use a face lift, very dated.

Good Location!

Well appointed clean condo walking distance to the Village Gondola. The condo is dated but clean and comfortable. We enjoyed being able to walk to the village for the skiing and restaurants. We definitely recommend this condo for winter fun (and it's no doubt nice in the summer)!

Comfy Board Trip

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Amazingly comfortable place. It had a full/twin not 2 twins shown in pix. The complex took away the dumpsters so the trash was almost overflowing after 2 nights.

Great place to stay, but beware of the parking situation

Loved staying here and the property had everything we needed to have a fun trip! Amazing location close to the village (walkable) so it's easy to go to restaurants and get to the gondola to travel to Canyon Lodge. However the parking situation is not the best - there is no assigned parking and not enough parking spots for everyone in the complex. So, if you arrive in the afternoon/evening/night, it's likely that you will have no parking spot. Even if there are spots, it's unlikely that they'd not be close to the unit you're staying at - it would be great if they were assigned to make this easier! Other than that, would recommend.

Needs a Refresh

The location is perfect if you walk to the Village and Gondola. The digital lock was great. Limited parking in front of the unit. But…this cozy condo is in major need of a refresh. The fridge makes weird noises (glad nobody slept on that level). Most of the thermostats don't have a temperature gauge so you don't know if you're turning the heat up or down. Not much water pressure from either shower. The fan in the master bath didn’t work and the room fan for the master bedroom made horrible noises and so was unusable. The King bed had major dents in it and was not comfortable (hurting my back). A little trash on the kitchen counter and a pill on the master nightstand when we arrived. The dining table was sticky. Some lightbulbs missing and not all the switches were attached to a lamp in the bedrooms. Books to read, some board games (Operation had no pieces) and no puzzles to work on. But…the sheets and towels were clean, there were enough pillows to go around, the dishwasher, microwave and stove worked just fine. TV in the living room worked. Soap, conditioner, shampoo, and lotion provided, although the kids said their conditioner was watery. Short walk to the community hot tub and pool. Small but useful clubhouse with a pool table. The trash dumpsters were overflowing (not their fault). Limited recycling and no organics recycling opportunities in the complex.

Don't stay in room 227

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This room is outdated. The dinning room table has never been cleaned. I used 2 wipes to try to clean it and they were almost black from the dirt. There was hair in the bathroom sink from who ever stayed there last. Also, the kighti5 at night is so poor as well

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There is nothing wrong with the rental. It is however a little dated and not for the folks looking for something to impress your guests. Parking is first come first serve and fills up quick. You could find yourself looking for a place to park that is away from your condo. Liked walking to the Village and Gondola.

Great location, needs updating and repairs.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to Mammoth Estates for years. The location really cannot be beat and we love the fire places for the cold days. Now since we have been coming to various units on this property for roughly 5 years we have noticed the units are slowly going downhill. They all need some sort of updating and/or maintenance. I understand they are income properties for the owners but upkeep is needed to continue to substantiate the asking price for nightly rental. Some issues in this unit which we have stayed at before and the same issues persist: - Very low water pressure. - Shower heads that barely work and are extremely low. - Shower doors that are falling off the tracks and have to be picked up and placed to close for showering. This is pretty dangerous actually. - The bedroom heaters are only totally on or off no matter how you adjust the temperature settings. - Kitchen sink faucet leaks out the back and all over the counter when turned on.Overall we really enjoy having the amenities of home (kitchen, living room, dining table). It just seems like a little can be done to keep the places fresher.

Great location and great value

Pros: parked right in front of property, plenty of parking, walking distance to village Cons: mattresses not comfortable, could really use some updating and “fixing up” Recommendations: replace mattresses, replace couches with leather (easy to clean), do a run through to get things working properly!
