"The house is completely updated, has cheerful decor , and highly quality brand appliances, including the outdoor grill. The house feels extra spacious due to its generous 12 foot high walls. The house is well stocked, including extra bed linens. The master bed mattress I slept on was amazingly comfortable, and the sheet, blanket, bedcover combo was perfect for finding the right warmth/coolness throughout the night. And the kitchen! The coffee and coffee creamer selection is incredible. Vonnie provides both ground coffee and Keurig cup options—including decaf—and a dual Keurig coffee maker that provides both drip/carafe and K-cup brewing options. She also provides a large bowl generously stocked with a surprising variety of packaged snacks that can accommodate both the health conscious travelers and the ones with a bit of a sweet tooth. Vonnie also provides some breakfast goodies, with several options to suit guests’ tastes, to get them started off on their stay. The location obviously is not for the person who wants to do a lot of touristy things in a place with a vibrant night culture of fine dining and bars. For those who are interested in exploring the outdoors—or even working remotely in a quiet getaway—it is a great location. There is a dollar store in town that has a nice little supermarket within it that has a good variety of food selections. Vonnie is a superb host who is dedicated to ensuring that your stay is a good one. You are in good hands staying at Desert Gem!"

In addition, the home is top rate and includes lots of convenient extras, grill, fire pit, fountain, golf cart and patio furniture to fit every need. Dennis and Janet have done an incredible job with the home and are as accommodating and responsive as anyone could hope for. We rate this property 5-star++++!"

"Wow! We were so fortunate to stay at this beautiful home.for three weeks ( and how we wish we could have extended our stay). The home location is perfect for folks to enjoy the Saddlebrooke amenities - including all the wildlife that chooses to make it's appearance. Truly, the photos don't seem to do justice to the property. The home was spotless when we arrived, the owners provided a wonderful book regarding the home, check in with Vacassa was easy and the community and residents are great. Our visit and time spent here provided a well needed respit and we are grateful to the owners for sharing.their home!"

"We stayed at Casa Linda for the month of March, 2024. The house is beautiful and very spacious. It is as solid as the surrounding mountains. The furnishings are comfortable and pretty. There are lots of windows for watching wildlife and there is a lot of wildlife to watch. We have never stayed in a house that is as well equipped as Casa Linda. The hosts have thought of everything you will need and many things you didn't realize you needed. It's amazing! The house is well managed and clean. When we had a question we texted or called the house manager and received an almost instant reply. The town of Oracle is charming with some nice restaurants and a little market that sells the most amazing foods! The drive to Tucson is not bad if you can miss rush hour so visiting attractions there is not an exhausting drive. The area around Oracle is beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Linda and would recommend the house to anyone."

"As advertised, it is a gem. We spent 6 weeks here starting February 1st. The house is set up nicely, with most everything we needed for our stay. The hosts were very friendly and very responsive to our needs and questions. SaddleBrooke is a nice community with the Catalina Mountains providing gorgeous views. "We enjoyed our stay at this home. The best part was the outdoor patio with a nice view of the mountains from one side and comfortable seating to enjoy it! The home is older and a little outdated but the pictures in the listing are accurate. The rental manager was easy to communicate with and wanted feedback which we appreciated. We only had a couple minor cleaning issues. Supplies of soap/toilet paper, etc were plentiful! Would appreciate a couple more baking dishes, but otherwise the kitchen was decently outfitted."
